Using detailed path registration and allocating unique barcodes to all pallets that are produced means that all tomatoes can be followed from harvest to the shelf.The tomatoes are transported to the Red Star Trading packaging and distribution centre in De Lier after harvest.Red Star Trading is BRC-A, IFS higher level, QS and RIK certified and so complies with the highest requirements in the field of food safety and quality standards.FresQ Red Star BV has the IFS Broker certificate. This certificate supports the vision that food safety and quality are two important aspects for the organisation.

Our own quality controllers ensure the quality of the incoming and outgoing products and the tomatoes are given a thorough examination on arrival.The products are temporarily placed in the conditioned stockroom while waiting for internal transport to one of the packaging lines.The tomatoes are then packed in accordance with the client's requirements.The first in first out (FIFO) principle applies to the packaging process.Production starts after checking the label and that there are the correct number of boxes or crates.

The production process is fully automated andmost of it can be followed with cameras and extensive automation provides optimum tracking and tracing.The automated order, processing and distribution system produces a completely reliable end product.
